When Mara Ellison inherits a decaying Victorian mansion from a grandmother she barely remembers, she expects dust, unpaid taxes, and a few unpleasant family secrets. She does not expect the house to know her name. Blackthorn House stands beyond the dying town of Bellwether, where locals cross the street rather than pass its iron gates.
